Summer Pick up Soccer Games

We want to offer players a chance to play some fun soccer games this summer.
The cost will be FREE for any kids that are registering for the Fall 2020 season and cost will be $40 for non-registering players
To follow covid-19 guidelines we have adjusted the times slightly for everyone’s safety. 
 
Please check your time changes below carefully:

What to bring
  1. Its required for parent/guardian/family members to wear a mask at all times. 
  2. Players must wear a mask or face covering to enter and exit the facility. Players are welcome to wear their mask if they would like, but it is not required to play with it.
  3. Since we are not wearing pennies we would like everyone to bring a dark and light t-shirt, black and white if possible.
  4. Shin guards
  5. Water bottle
  6. Sneakers, cleats

Game Schedule:
Games will be on Sat Morning - 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22, 8/29
Please arrive 5mins before your scheduled games for check-in.

10mins team arrival and organization
40mins games (Games Back to back, no breaks)
10mins player dismissal + equipment cleanup

Parents
Only 1 parent/guardian/family member is allowed in the facility at a time to observe player practices within their designated area, if wearing a mask and keeping 6ft distance.
CDC and Return to Play Guidelines are all respected and followed to ensure safe play
Please ensure player equipment (especially water bottles) remain off the ground and as clean as possible
Everyone within the facility must wear a mask (including coaches, parents, family, friends, etc.) This includes any players walking into the building as stated earlier

Pre- K Registration

Pre-K Program

The Pre-K Program is an interactive educational soccer program designed for young children typically in their last year of PreSchool.

This program is a total of 6-8 weeks, the first session will provide players and families the chance to meet coaches and teammates. Each player new to the program will receive their uniform .

This program is formatted for children who are in the year before kindergarten.

-Saturdays at Memorial Middle School,
-Times: 3 available sessions
-Fridays 10a at Peckham Park
-Saturday 11a at Memorial
-Saturday 12at Memorial
-six-eight (6-8) sessions total;
-NO Session Durham Fair/Go Far Saturday

-Supplied: shirt (distributed to new players)
-Required: shin guards, size 3 ball

At this age, experts stress the important role of the parent in early childhood development, so this program has been designed to support active parent participation. This approach fosters a memorable experience for the whole family and encourages support for the volunteer coach. Coginchaug Soccer Club's Travel program provides a level-appropriate combination of clinic style training and small sided games.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches/managers/assistant coaches.

Practices:
-Week Night -1-2 Evenings by Parent coaches at Memorial School Fields

Team size Depending on Age group:
-U9/10 - 10-15 player per team

Coginchaug Soccer Club's 1st/2nd Grade program provides a level-appropriate combination of clinic style training and small sided games. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches.

During the season, all teams attend an academy style practice facilitated by a professional trainer on Saturdays who works with the players and coaches to develop basic individual and team soccer skills.
