CJSA Return to Play Guidelines

In the interest of providing Connecticut youth the benefits of participating in soccer activities, CJSA has adopted a return to play plan. Return to play will begin on or after June 20, 2020, and will follow a phased-in approach as recommended by US Soccer and US Youth Soccer. Only those activities specifically permitted for each phase may be engaged in by the club. CJSA has adopted this phased-in approach and accompanying minimum requirements to help protect players, families, and coaches from increased risk of contracting COVID-19. Please keep in mind that local municipalities may have additional guidelines in place that will need to be adhered to. All phases require strict adherence to safety requirements. These requirements are likely to change as CDC and government requirements evolve. Clubs should be prepared to revert to an earlier phase if health conditions warrant. Clubs will be notified as we begin to enter the "next phase", minimum time in between phases will be 2 weeks.
